    My 0º Wooki Photo Spread

Just got this 0º Wookie and even spent the night in it last night. It is a very different UQ mount. No gaps on the end at all. I get what Brandon says about it hanging slightly loose around the edges.
I just stuck it on and slept out in my Nut-Hut. About 40º in there. I was warm!
Outside shoulder was warm and even more-so with TQ snugged up.
I did find it fiddle-free. Instant warmth for me.
    Mine weighed 25.35 ounces.......719 grams....so, 1.9 pounds.
Looking forward to more time with it.
And yes, it fit on my Chameleon.

Such a clever design. The gathered nylon section seems to act essentially as a fabric clew. Thx, Shug.

fantastic...I love mine!! it is a 20 degree "three season" XL model....freaking amazing quilt for me so far.

Slept out Saturday night here in Alabama...was too toasty for first bit of the night as it was around 50-55, but once below 50, I was just toasty and warm in the 40's here in bama wearning nothing but a pair of gym shorts!

This basic design for me just seems like a no brainer now for UQ choice!

Oddly, some freaking way, I managed to hang mine in such a way that 1 hour into getting in, I got cold...it was as if some gremlin came by and unhooked the whole thing! Well, the band had came half undone making it longer and looser and the backside slid off...lol...no wonder I got cold...it wasn't on...clearly user error...proof a dummy proof attempt at an UQ, cannot TRULY fix a dummy.

PS - the idea of a "2nd hammock quilt" dates way back to when folks were talking about sewing in insulation directly to the primary hammock fabric, and folks openly discussed and did I believe in DIY make a sort of 2nd hammock UQ....this all predates the "clew" discussed in the DIY section.

My wife is getting into hammock camping this year, or at least will try, and she seems to believe she will want to swap positions back and forth as far as lay orientation....my hope is she settles on one orientation with some experience and we get a second wooki or else, I would need to ask Brandon to make like a double wookie, or mirrored version

Thinking out loud here ... I wish I were younger I would try to date Shug's daughter, become the son-in-law that could borrow all that gear

Nice pics Shug. How will you ever use all of this gear? Yep Shug you are definitely going to have to move out side like that kid did up your way

You seem to be doing far better than me at getting the down evenly spread.

Have tried goving it a good snappy shake from each end and the middle edges to migrate the down?
Or put it in the drier for 15 minutes on low to fluff it.

So you're not Wookiless any more. Fantastic quilt.

Brandon has applied for a trademark on "Wooki", with no "e" at the end (https://trademarks.justia.com/869/71...-86971378.html).

It's confusing because the word is a derivative, I believe, of George Lucas' Wookiee (with two "e"), the intelligent bipeds from the planet Kashyyk . Watch out for the hairy things when you take a nap...
