Exceptional looking as always! Always enjoy seeing your flecktarn work and excited to see this print available on a light weight sil. Wish you could share details, but hopefully even us non-vendors will be able to get out hands on some soon.
That's a purdy tarp! mmmhmmm!
I just made another one. For myself Trying out a different way of doing the ties which pull along the hems rather than the single plane of fabric. Looks super clean as well.
Love the Flecktarn, and your fit and finish is marvelous.

That tarp looks amazing would love one like that with doors maybe one day. Till then the small monsoon will have to make due
Firesong~~
I have thought of trying the tie-outs differently on my next tarp, too. [I have done a reinforcing corner patch on previous builds]
Howz about sewing one side of the grosgrain along the edge-fold [hem], putting a flip/twist in the ribbon, and then sewing that end inline with the other edge-fold?
The cross/overlap would be double sewn, but those running ends would transfer some of the strain forces to the edges, rather than out across the tarp surface... hopefully drawing the hems more taut.

Firesong... thx for the close-up.... and, no, I didn't see the tapes. Looks to achieve the same results.
I meant putting the actual tie-out loop on with the twist and the ends running along the hems. [it would be on the surface of the hems]... save a step.
You would do that same box-stitch at the crossover though.
[BTW- your products look primo! The "tea" green is my fav RSbtR color. What's your chgz.shipping to the US?]

I've see plenty on tarps that do the twist on the loop coming out for the tie out then following the underside of the hem. Seratus an old MEC brand over 16 years ago had a silnylon guide tarp that did that. Loved it. Donated it to the school outdoor canoe club.
Shipping is about 15$ usd or so for a tarp or hammock. Depends on where exactly.
