I'm posting this with only because it fits in with the the Kickstarter trustworthliness discussion. I'm not implying in anyway this will happen to Dutch... (so don't go saying that is what I'm implying... i'm not).
Anyways, Kickstarter can also be bad for the person doing to kickstarter campaign if they didn't manage it well. Here is a story of how bad it can get if you don't run your kickstarter campaign correctly...Man lost his house to fund the production costs of item when campaign was too successful. Of course this is a worst case sanario... It makes for an interesting read.

I wasn't part of this Glory to Rome Kickstarter but I do one the first version (non-black box edition one) It's a great game. One of my favorite games to play. It's too bad this kickstarter for GTR Blackbox was so bad it might have killed the game's chances of getting repubished.
