Well the zips are on the hammock and after lot of testing they seem to work great.
They start easy, dont come apart, i have flying ends so no pressure at all at the starting point. Also makes it eaiser. This is a winner i think. Will be going on all the hammocks from now on.

I like the ideas shared and tested. I may have to try it on one of my hammocks. I am sure the coil zipper is much softer than a toothed or YKK Vision style zip too. Would be better for the edge of a hammock whilst getting in and out rubbing on one's legs.

Hi Tacblades.
Love your projects to date.
I'm having issues with this one though. When I cut the zipper the tape rips when I try to feed it into the pull.
How do you cut your zipper? Any "tricks"?

Ok, I'm an idiot. Didn't realize the zipper pull has a top and a bottom. ..

I'm not sure you know this, or maybe you do. Dutch now has this style zipper. Not sure if it's available at any length or just what is offered.

Quite aware. But those are a fixed length and to short for my use. I have used the 240" version from RSBTR but I would like #3 coil zipper over the # 5 toothed zipper. The coil is more comfortable on my legs and I prefer the smaller zips for my projects.
Thanks though!
