    Hammock Bunk Bed

I made hammocks for my kids this year for Christmas and my son wanted to try his out, so we took out his mattress off the bunk bed and hung the Whoopie slings on the diagonal supports. The distance between the posts is perfect for the kids, but I had a hard time fitting.

Excellent! He'll be a happy fella, might be easier to get him to go to bed, now?

He sure looks happy. I know I would. I also know it would be harder to get me out of that hammock.....I wouldn't want to leave that comfy hang!!

I've been thinking about doing the same for my 3 kids....

Did you make them "kid size", "nearly adult size" or "adult size"? Single layer or double layer? Do you plan to use them on a backpacking/camping trip? Netting? Bottom insulation?

I've been trying to figure a way to do the same thing on my dorm room-type loft. I think it's just too short to work. :-(
