Attach the UQ protector to the UQ carabiners?

I bought a used 2QZQ UQ protector and I feel a little dumb for asking this but what's the proper way of attaching it to the hammock? Currently, I've tied figure-8s in the shock cord and I just hook it in to the UQ carabiners that are attached to my CLs. Sound right? Thanks for the help!

you just attach it to the same carabiner as the uq, on the hammock cls

i have mine hooked on the dutch hook the hammock is hanging on, but you can use whatever you have your hammock hanging on

Hey Donna,I also have your UQ protector.Wouldn't it be easier to just put the instructions here publicly rather than all of us asking for p.m.'s.?It is a thread about your specific product ya know........Note,mine is attached to the ridge line behind the suspension for the underquilt.I adjust snug or loosen the fit between quilt and protector with the drawstrings on the protector.Right wrong or what exactly?
