    This is Poof.

You may need to bring your shorts according to the forecast below. Looks like it will probably only get down to about 43 Friday night. You can hope for some high winds, but right now those look to be about 20.

Who is going to Linville or are you going on over to Over Mountain Saturday night?

    See you soon

I can only make it up there on Friday night. I have too many orders to take off more than one night right now.

That's wonderful FIB! Glad to hear that even though I would have liked to spend more time visiting. I hope we get out more this year and look forward to hopefully seeing you after the Roan

Never did a 'sign up' sheet but I'd bet it will be a select few that gather for this pilgrimage. Regardless
of numbers I'm looking forward to the reunion of brave souls (who it looks like get to all hike up in shorts!!) and
to wannabes who want to wear the higher-colder (warmer) t-shirt.
I just packed up the HNO Dirigible, yep the first generation HNO Shelter (and the one Poof blew up and popped on Round Knob in a 40+ gust)
and packed my Winter Bonefire (Sorry Brother Bones I can't ever get the exact name right---old age is serious business these days

Now I'll be hoping there is some chile left over at Linville post our walk off of Roan

Everyone, safe travels on the way up.

I'm still getting over the crud, but I'll be there (likely in shorts). I look forward to seeing the Winter Whisper in action, even though it may be overkill.

From last night to today I have gotten worse. I am waiting to hear from the doctor as to whether or not I might have the flu. Gear is still ready to go, but I'm not.
