finally got a hammock, finally back into the outdoors

    Hey!
I'm Andy. I live in Utah.
I'm a barber. I have a wife with a child on the way, we have a dog, and we love the outdoors. I'm an eagle scout and it's high time i get back to those roots.
I got my new Bear Butt double hammie with straps for my birthday this past december. I've only been able to hang it once so far, as the weather here has been super cold. I don't have an underquilt yet.
I have every intention of spending most of my time in this hammock for years to come!

    here's some pictures

I served an LDS (Mormon) mission in Atlanta and lived in Kennesaw and Acworth for a lot of the time I was there.
I'd have a hard time living with all of he humidity, but I e always said I would live in kennesaw or acworth if I had to go back. Beautiful part of Georgia!

I've lived here all my life, minus the six years I spent in the Corps. I kinda like it here, humidity and all =) I would like to visit out west though.

That had to be hard to stay in being upside down Welcome to Hammock forums and good luck with your new family. PS you can load that image to your PC and use the Paint program to rotate them. For some reason this message board rotates images from time to time especially if you are point from a phone.

Welcome aboard, Bearcat! I've got some family that moved out to Utah. Visited there a couple of years ago, quite different from CT, nice country. I'd love to try a hang out that way. (If they don't force me to drink too much tequila and break their coffee table again.

I wonder how it is we have come to this place in our society where art and nature are spoke in terms of what is optional, the pastime and concern of the elite?

If they do force tequila on you, insist on Espalon tequila.
I quit drinking when I got married, and was never a tequila person, but that one was a brand I'd buy again.
