Great video and excellent information as usual! I don't like sleeping in socks at all, but I've found that under 45* and my feet will start getting chilled in the hammock. I tried the loose wool socks and they didn't work very well for me. I switched to using the Wiggy's Lamilite Socks and have been very happy with them. They are not as thick as a bootie, but still nice and loose.

Great video, lots of real good common sense there that often gets forgotten as well as some new bits. I am going to look into those motorcycle overshoes, I can't believe I never thought of that for a winter camp shoe. It also made me think about taking some down booties an putting some rubberized material on the underside so they work better in camp. Not sure, but you made me think about some possibilities.
