How to add a ridgeline to a hammock?

I recently purchased an ENO OneLink hammock for my goddaughter to use while camping with me, but would like to add a ridgeline so she can hang her lantern, organizer, etc. I am new to hammock camping and still trying to figure it all out - any suggestions for material to use and how to go about doing so?

Here's a pretty popular "how-to" video for the same.

I have that axact hammock and did what you're wanting too. I got Dutch's zing-it Ridgeline the short one, removed ENOs Ridgeline the connect the loop on Dutch's line on the biner feel thur the eyelet on the bug net and out the other eyelet and again attached the loop to the biner. Worked out great even got a ridgeline organizer from papasmurf to put stuff in.

Watch Shug's Hammock Ridgeline Tutorial video (my dsaughter's favorite!) first. Then check out WhoopieSlings.com for their Adjustable Structural Ridgeline, which is an ultralight Dyneema cord ridge line with loops on each end that adjusts from 86" to 116", good for any hammock from 9 to 11.5 feet long. It costs about twelve bucks. You can play with your RL length as much as you want -- and never tie a knot more complicated than a lark's head!

My little girl calls it "The Death of Green Bean", and she asks me to play it frequently. It's a real tearjerker, in addition to being highly educational...
