    UL Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock

For sale is my JRB BMBH. I bought is slightly used and I have had it out one night. The previous owner stitched a small hole in the net that is very hard to find, but it is there. Other than that, it's in great shape, just didn't work out for me. All zippers work flawlessly, and the suspension and hammock material look great. $140 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred.

How high do the sides come up? Both laden and unladen. I know it's 4" shallower than the deluxe, but since we've never been in either it's hard to relate to the difference.

I've been thinking of getting BMBH for my wife because she doesn't care for the low sides of my WBRR. A used one would be fine. You don't have cats do you? Nothing worse than cat pee stink and nearly impossible to remove.

I can try to hang it and measure this evening once I get home. There is decent depth when it's empty as it make a trough. Once inside the height remains the same near the head and feet, but lessens a little in the middle with a bit of swag. The small gear bags on each end are roughly 8-9 inches square and I'd say the bottom is about 3 inches or so below that. You can look around better in this UL version than the deluxe, but you're still down in the hammock pretty decently.

    No cats, smoke free home.

Thanks. Mrs Sqid prefers the way a GE wraps around her, I just don't know if the UL is deep enough to satisfy her. I feel that a bridge would be better for her back and knee issues.

I got it from boulderman here on the forum. You can PM him and as as he has a WBRR as well. He will know exactly how they compare.

Unladened, the hammock measures 14" deep on the ends. When I lay in it, the ends remain that depth and there are about 5 or 6 inches above my hips on each side.

    Thanks.

I showed her a video review of the deluxe, but I haven't found one with the UL. I was trying to find something that would give a visual comparison between the two, with somebody in them.

Of course the only way to know for sure is try them. Another member offered to bring his UL to the southern NJ hang at the end of the month and I'd be pretty sure someone will be there with a deluxe as well. I'll ask in that thread. Maybe someone in northern NJ will offer for her to try theirs prior to then.

It's likely you'll sell your hammock before the end of the month, but in the mean time we'll do the best we can.
