Well I needed a good test for my gear that I've been working on, many thanks to all the knowledge on this forum and everyone's awesome DIY plans.
18F last night and I was toasty warm, and I'm sure I can get down even lower temps no problem.
Hammock is a Grizz Ariel inspired bridge hammock made from 2.4oz Hexon, no shoulder squeeze with 36"Top And 32" Bottom spreader bars.
Bottom Quilt is two layers of insultex on the bottom with two 3.6oz layers on top with a 1.1 nylon shell, and drawstrings.
Top quilt is 60"Wide with a taper to the foot, (EDIT one layer 3.6oz climashield) polyester blanket lined so it's comfy against my skin with an outside nylon shell.
Also using a synthetic 0F bag for now until I make a down topquilt for colder weather.
I went nuts making a massive sock for my bridge hammock out of silnylon. It's vented at the head and foot ends with an overhang for weather protection and little door flaps I can raise if it's nasty out. You enter the sock by raising it up from underneath the hammock then climb in, once your inside there's two drawstrings one on the very bottom and one on the sides right under the spreader bars. There where zero issues with condensation and ice as well.
I still need to put some finishing touches on everything, The endcaps are unfinished because I'm going to make them double walled to allow for insulation or storing my pack.
Images uploaded to Hammock forums now if that doesnt work I dont know whats up
Hammock Sock bottom, foot end. I'm going to redo the seam with a slightly heavier waterproof fabric on the bottom. The internal drawstring is made of 2.4oz hexon that I had laying around
And I still need to reinforce the vent openings and waterproof all the seams
