Need Help With My BBXLC Suspension

I ordered my BB XLC a couple of years ago with whoopies and I've been looking for an alternative. I tend to mess with them more than I should, and they're getting frayed from me not taking good care of them. I just want something more easy to use (for me, anyway). I settled on a set of 10ft straps with Dutch Buckles and Dutch Clips. What I didn't realize is that those come with whoopies, so I really didn't upgrade anything other than the attachment method of the whoopies to the straps.

My question is: would it be feasible for me to purchase a set of 8" Amsteel CL's to attach to each end of my BB, and then use the CL's to loop around each Dutch Buckle (just like the whoopies would). It seems correct in theory, but I just need confirmation. My second (and possibly more valid) concern is that this will severely limit the adjustability range of the suspension setup since I'm losing the range that the Dutchware whoopies would have provided.

Thanks in advance for any help!

That works but the buckle is really meant to adjust to the size of the tree and the fine tuning is done with the whoopie sling. The buckle doesn't adjust nearly as easy as the Whoopie and it will take much more fiddling to get the right hang.

Thanks Dutch. Would the Cinch Bug or Cinch Buckle be more appropriate for what I'm trying to do? Essentially I'm looking for something like Warbonnet's buckle setup but with Dutchware.

Why not simply order the strap suspension for that hammock directly from Warbonnet? They sell replacement sets.

Cinch Buckle, Cinch Bug, or the Spider will work great.

I use both Dutchware cinch buckles and warbonnet cinch buckled on all my hammocks. The first thing I do is install Dutchware CL 's on the hammock. Then I put Dutchbiner in each loop that comes on the buckles. I do this so they can be stored separately from the hammock and so I can use whoopie hooks if I want to

Because I like bling! It's just something different to play around with. I'll probably end up with WB's eventually as well.
