I could not find much on sewing the footbox...I just wanted a rectangular box with one side of it being larger to allow a hem that would act as a point of attachment to the hem of the body of the quilt.
I kinda googled a bit, and only could find the round foot box plug discussion on HF's, but not a square that was not a "sewn through" design.
So I scratched my head, and came up with a design that worked well for me...probably is an easier way?
I will make a little drawing of it to show what I did as some have asked me....oh and when doing the footbox, oh my the "wonder tape" was an absolute asset!
