VIDEO - Cave Creek Trail Loop. Cheaha State Park. McDill overlook camp.

My Brother in Law and I had a great time for our first time out from at the Cheaha Trailhead. We were really blown away by the multiple overlooks the trail provided. I did have a few audio issues so there are a couple of voice overs in the video. Hope you enjoy, I know we did.

Those mid-height deadfalls can be a hassle when there's a bunch of them. Too high to hop, to low to duck under... that can tire you out (or me anyway)!

My wife and I dehydrate chili and other stuff for the trail as well. Works out great.

Great view to wake up to in the morning!

I know what you mean about making time when the views are nice- you end up getting really slow just trying to take it all in. It's worth it!

I'd like to hike that area sometime, looks like a really nice area. Thanks for sharing!

I really like the hang spot up there. I also enjoy the tarp color. Nice shot of the fire. Good stuff.

Nice job with the video. I am planning on a trip with my son doing the same loop but adding in the Nubbin creek, Odom scout portions toward the end of February. Was the water source on the cave creek portion the only one you came across?

I love being able to dehydrate now. The views really blew me away.

Thanks, I want to check out the Nubbin Creek and Odom Scout trails too. I watched a video by Sailing and Such when he went through there and it looks awesome. That was the only water source we ran into but it looked like, in the Sailing and Such video, there are more along the Nubbin and Odom.
It's not often that I seldom do something. . .
