Is there a way you could do a quick video on the 1/2" rolled hem? Specifically how you get it started in the guide and maybe the first couple inches of feeding the fabric? I just ordered the set you have but have a cheap knockoff one at home that I can play around with.

A vid may take a while but I can explain it.

The easiest way is to feed the fabric into the foot while the foot is not on the machine. Keep it in your hand and keep pulling the fabric through until it makes the turn. Then carefully slide the foot back to the beginning where you want your seam to start and put it on the machine.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

Old dog just learned a new trick; off the machine to load. Thank you ma'am.
I know it's not the lightest gear, and it's a lot of stuff, but I use a canoe, so it's a lot like car camping, but without the other cars.

Gotch, I will fiddle around with it hopefully this evening.

    Thanks!

I think it is easier to sew with a narrower foot; loading the foot is easier and doing turns is much easier.

Thanks so much for this and all your videos! I've had a winter tarp kit that I've been meaning to sew up, but after working with a top quilt and under quilt kit, I was a little put off working with these outdoor materials. Your vids have given me the juice to jump back in! Thanks!
