2017 - Winter Yeti Hang - Jan 20th-22nd

What - 6th Annual Winter Yeti Hang
When - January 20th- 22nd
Where - Frog Lake Campground, Oregon
Why - Why Not......See you there!!!!

I spoke to SMJerry before I started this thread to make sure it was OK....since he is the one that has been active with stetting up this hang.
I have seen hangs not happen because nobody could settle on a date. And I didn't want to see that happen here with this hang. I'm sorry for anyone who might not be able to make this hang for any reason.....but I would be even more sorry to see it not happen at all.....

So I hope to see as many of you as I can out there....Be Safe and Be Prepared

I'm going to go up to the mountain today and test some new gear out. Supposed to be 15° tonight. Will for sure be at this one. Can't wait.

Have fun where ever you end up....they are calling for 7* tonight in my neck of the woods and -11* for Tuesday night that will be a new record for me....looking forward to meeting you at the hang!

Not new to hammock camping , but am to group hangs. I'm interested in joining this outing and would like some input. Its the closest for traveling. I'm in Washington state so would need to know what paperwork I'd need. Any help would be appreciated. Look forward to new experiences.

Looks like the only paperwork is a snow pass for your car.

I am going to be there. My first group hammock forums hang.

MonkeyWrench is right.... all you need is the snow park permit....you can get one in Government Camp right before Frog Lake.....I'm sure there are other places you could get a permit but Government Camp is probably the easiest.
Park at the snow park area then hike 1 mile to Frog Lake Campground
Some people use a pulk to hike into the campground but one isn't needed...
