    Hello from Central Texas

    Hello All!

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season to you and those you share it with.

I've been kicking around jumping into the hanging world for a year or so now; thanks Sintax77 and Shug! This season my wife finally kicked me off dead center with a few great Christmas gifts.

If only we could move out of "AC all the time" season and into the "I need to run the heater at night" season (these are the two official seasons in Central Texas) new gear testing will commence shortly.

Cheers to all and have a safe New Year's Eve celebration.

Welcome to Hammock Forums and get out there as a hammock is cool in the warmer weather and hey you save some money/time not needing these 0° quilts. Let us know if you have any questions and again welcome to the fun side.

    Northwest San Antonio.

Easy access to Hill Country and Lost Maples SNA's. Really easy access to Government Canyon SNA. Got any favorite spots to share? Pickins get pretty slim for trail mileage plus hanging ability.

Pedernales SP and Inks Lake SP re both hammock friendly. Welcome. I'm originally from Bell County myself, so that's a bit north of your 10/20, but I live near Houston now. SFA SP, Brazos Bend SP and Huntsville are all good hangs out this way.

Howdy and welcome to the competition for trees in Texas! JK, lots of great places to hang, it just may take a few miles. Most State Parks are hammock friendly, (Gov't Canyon, not so much), as are National Forest to your Northeast and Corps of Engineer parks.

Looking back to last year to reminisce and forward to post Covid-19 hangs in 2021
