not your normal question (that i can find) Wookie vs Yeti

Good Afternoon, Evening, Morning (depending where you live)
I have just started getting into the world of Hammock Camping etc. Looks like there is loads to learn, but with so much information on this forum it makes the learning process much easier. Thanks BTW.

    So this is my question.
I live in Bermuda, and the winter time temperature can go down to about 57ish but it also can be very damp, and therefore feel colder.
I was going to go for the Wookie UQ, BUT the Yeti is making a bit more sense. The Yeti is smaller (i am going to do bikepacking here and away) but also might be cooler to use when the heat starts kicking in? How small can i pack the Wookie down compared to the Yeti? Is the extra size worth going for the Wookie?

I can't find any side by side photos of the two. Does anyone have both? Which would you go for? Is the yeti just as easy to setup (videos make it look like it is) but it looks like can move around a bit. Is this a issue?

    thoughts on the subject?

Ooo the hammock i have is the Warbonnet BB if that makes a difference

Cheers and looking forward to the thoughts of what i should go for

I use a Jarbidge 3/4 UQ. I have been happy with that down into the high 20'sF. I would certainly consider the extra size for colder temps, but down to the 40's I would stick with a 3/4. Just me though, still a newbie myself.

Just looking on the Warbonnet site spec listings, the Yeti is 8 oz lighter so I'd assume it'd pack up smaller than the Wooki...and it costs $50 less. The Wooki is a FULL LENGTH quilt whereas the Yeti will require you to use a small sit pad to insulate your feet and legs. As to simplicity of use, I'm confident the Wooki is the easiest, most good proof. I only have a Wooki, so really have no clue how simple or not the Yeti is to properly fit...but the Wooki is awesomely simple to use. The first time I ever set mine up was in the dark with a bitter wind whipping aboutand it took me probably LESS than a minute to pull out of its sack and pop onto my hammock for the first time ever...and it was perfectly set for the entire night. I love it!!! BUT, having said all that, given your circumstances--not planning to hang in very cold weather--I personally would probably opt for the partial length quilt (Yeti) and save space in my pack. OR, I might strongly consider a Loco Libre SYNTHETIC quilt because that would stay warmer if it got DAMP than a down quilt would.

+1 on the synthetic if you need to stay warm when it is wet.
The essential part of me can not be discussed here. Ask me in person.
