Tuned in expecting to see a CF tarp flailing in the wind (complete with wind noise completely covering over any narrative) on some god forsaken chunk of realestate. Nope, but I can still imagine it, cuz' Ive been there, done that ;-)

Funny. If they could figure out a way to quieten these tarps down they'd have something but these are worse than those potato chip bags they quit making due to the amount of noise they made. You can't find a lighter material though.

    Quieten?

    Is that a word?

Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

ethomology "EN" pronounced en, an action verb. Common redneck slang substituted for the "ing" suffix used by professors, the Hoi Poi, and sundry other of pretentious nature.

    Usage Examples:

    1) Hang'en (to deploy or recline in a hammock) "How they hang'en?"

    2) CBS'en (to painfully endure a night thinking the 1/8" "miracle" CCF pad you read about on HF would suffice at temperatures below 32*F) "Last F'en time I ever use that pad after a brutal night CBS'en"

    3)
