RR spreader bar Poll

So, I am about to order more RR spreader bars and I wanted to get some opinions first. It seems like I have a couple options, if you guys can think of anything else let me know as well.

First off, I'm thinking about making the head end (3 piece pole) out of more even lengths...so instead of 2 long pieces and one 4" piece I could have say three ~13" sections. Someone could still shorten the H pole but instead of simply leaving out the 4" middle piece they'd have to use a pipe cutter or hacksaw to shorten one of the sections, I'm thinking most people use the full pole length anyway though and cutting is prety easy

If I put both insert pieces on either end of the middle section, that leaves me with 2 sections with no inserts, which means the skinnier foot poles would nest inside of the the 2 non-insert head pole pieces.

Or I could make all the poles shockcorded poles, but then you couldn't nest the foot poles inside the head poles.

What do you guys think?

I elected not to use shock cords on my mod so I can nest all three sections of the foot poles into the head poles. Less bulk.

I like the idea of nesting poles, no shock cord.

Yes, I went with 3 pieces on the foot sections and 4 pieces on the head sections. Total packed/nested length of poles come out to 13".

I think Carbon on the right track with the nested poles!!! Weight and bulk are at a premium, might be slightly heavier due to the additional inner sleeves but space savings of nesting is worth it.
