    A shorter CL is advantageous - sometimes the CL's are actually too long making your hammock too long for your trees. Shorter CL's = more flexibility!

    Oh I bought the cinch buckles for budget reasons...

    My preferred suspension is whoopie slings whipped to gathered end to dutch spiders or a toggle

    I was so proud of myself last week. I spliced my first 6 loops onto cinch buckles. Then I realized I had done 5 of them on the wrong side! Fortunately, they were easy enough to undo and resplice. At least I got lots of practice!

    You just aint lazy enough...it took me like 3 min per buckle to work around to the other side lol....probably would take equal time to re-do the splice work lol

    I tried moving them around like you did. I got one strand through and then couldn't figure out how to get the rest. Actually, taking them out seemed lazier! Moving them was too much like work! Glad you figured out the problem.
