    My first hammock

Thought I'd upload my first d.i.y. gathered end hammock out of hexon 1.9 with an integrated bugnet double entry and left side lay

Wonderful job. I haven't tried an integrated net yet. Might be on my list now.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

very cool! Your first build and you did an integrated bugnet? Well dang, nice job! I have plans to do one with a bugnet...do you have any wisdom to share?

It was a little difficult, I just had to set the hammock up inside out with the zipper already sewn on and lay the netting on at an angle to achieve the asym shape and then pin it every 3 to 4 inches so it stays in place. That no see um is slippery

I'm very pleased with it.. the Ridgeline is at 83% but I think it may need to be a little longer

WOW! That's your first hammock? I made like 6 of them before I even attempted anything other than the basic rectangle. The bug net must have been a pain, I know my recent creation with a top about drove me nuts.
