11' RSTBR Outdoor Ink Paisley hammock.

Just made this one up as a Christmas present for my daughter. As the title says it's an 11' RSTBR Outdoor Ink hammock made with the polybox pink paisley.

4 yards were ordered and I trimmed 4" off the end. The trimmings were used to make a matching stuff sack. The stuff sack has matching cordage and a gromet in the end to pass the continuous loop through.

I think this hammock would have really looked nice as a double layer with a blue 1.6 Hyper D inner layer. Unfortunately I am out of time.

I paired this one up with some Atlas like straps and matching biners just to keep it all simple. She lives out of town and ease of use was the order of the day. No ridgeline, but I did include a blue grosgrain tab in the center of the head end channel seam. I'll be making a noseeum drawstring bag on a mitton hook to hang there. Something for keys, phone.. Whatever. It all fits in the stuff sack too.

I love the pink paisley with the black. It really pops.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

Do you have any shots of what the fabric looks like on the non printed side? I was going to do the same but didnt want to make a double layer.

    Yep. Here ya go. 20161211_120934.jpg

I wish it was printed on both sides but I'm sure that would add to the cost.

I am confused about the size. If you started with 3 yards, this would end up somewhere around an 8 foot hammock not 11 foot. Am I missing something? I do like the looks of it though.

Ha. Thanks for catching that. I must have one of those fabric stretchers.

I meant four yards. Funny no matter how many times you proofread your own work, it still looks perfect.

    First post amended. 🍻

Much appreciated.. So far I have a made up 4 of the Outdoor Ink hammocks. I think the red dragon skin is still my favorite.
