Preferred side of Hyper D

I'm making an 11 footer out of 1.6 Hyper D and noticed there is a slight difference in feel between the two sides of the fabric. The diamond grid on one side has a slightly higher sheen while the grid on the opposite side has more of a matte look to it. To me, the matte side feels a bit softer and I was planning on using this side as the inside of the hammock. Not really a big deal as I can easily flip the hammock over to test both sides, but I was more curious than anything. Have you noticed a difference and if so, do you have a preferred side?

Ive never really noticed. I dont see why there would be any difference as far as functionality. I would use whatever side your prefer on the inside.

I would put the slightly raised side out and the matte side in towards your skin. That being said, the difference is pretty subtle and functionally you're good either way. Let us know if you need anything else!
