New job, new hammock: Warrior Edge from Little Shop of Hammocks

To celebrate getting a new job, I picked up a new hammock. I'll be moving from WI to Florida after the turn of the year! Very, very excited.

Anyhow, got my new single layer Warrior Edge!! With stuff sack, Kevlar tree straps and whoopie hooks it weighs in at 21 oz. Great visibility to my left and over my feet (right lay). I won't get to test it in the field until after the move and I get settled in at the new gig, though, so probably 3+ months out.

4 zipper sliders, sewn in quilt clip points, shock-corded tie-outs, integrated bug net that can be unzipped most of the way and stowed in the foot end with a shock cord catch. Beautiful piece of work by James at Little Shop of Hammocks!

Nice hammock. What area of FL? The weather is nice and cool for now. It's been peaking around high 70's mid 50's in the Tampa Bay Area... it's perfect for hanging

Sarasota! I need to start researching the parks and wilderness areas. I'm so pumped up for this move. Been a northerner all my life, but I don't think I'll miss the winters that much.

Sarasota is a beautiful area. Great place to go kayaking and hanging around in the mangroves. Just be wary of mosquitoes, and crabs that love to crawl on trees.

Went to a great home. All these hammocks get to visit places I have yet to see!
