Washed Blackbird now we can not get it put back together. Anyone know how to put the whipping back together?

I never store mine in a plastic bag. When I'm not using it I make sure it's dry and put it in the double ended stuff sack.
After a Permethrin treatment I let it dry thoroughly and again is stored in the sack. The only gear that I store in a compactor bag are my down quilt. Those I also make sure are dry and I don't fully seal the bag bag anyways.
Did you undo the whipped ends? The ridgeline will go through the whipping and attach to the continuous loop.
If you did undo the whipping look up knotties vid on whipping

What can I say? The web site for the pyrethrum suggests storing the treated gear in black plastic bags. I should know better, my mother, daughter and I talked it over before we put the dried gear in the bag. After all it was a few days...
I opened up the birds so they could get full benefit or the wash and all the soap would leave and the hammocks would be able to to dry completely. The humidity is high here, pretty wet and I did not think the hammock would dry unless it was open. I will look up Knotty's Vid. Really dumb of me, these headaches are killing me, I only seem to retain things between headaches.
Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.

Np
When my BB got some stank, I hand washed it in a tub with mild detergent and let it dry in my basement where I have a dehumidifier.
Take it as a learning experience. Redoing the whip ends are fairly easy and only gets easier the more you do it.
