I got the deal for $9.99 and they will be here tomorrow, I will let you know how they do. For the price I am not expecting anything amazing. I will report how my clothesline performs.

Are you talking about the $10 straps or the $25 daisy chains?
Add this to the list of bad set ups:bad straps.jpg
I've seen about a dozen knock-off daisy chain loops on amazon. I got the "Nature's Hang Out" (NHO) brand for a friend. The seller was super pushy about getting me to leave him a 5* review, even though I told him multiple times they weren't for me.
I think these vendors probably sell decent straps but end up coupling them with substandard hardware. Be careful with the rings, hooks, and carabiners that come with these setups.
Yeah, that $9.95 is the non-adjustable straps, and some of the reviews show the ring and s-hook getting bent. Looks like trash to me.

The $9.99 that I received are daisy chains so they seem just fine (we have had rain for a couple of days so no testing yet. The carabiners that came with them are steel so they are ok for my backyard but really heavy to carry anywhere else.

I tested the straps today with one of my small ENO hammocks, my daughter and I tested them and they did just fine. the ENO has metal hooks on both ends so the daisy chain worked perfect for a simple backyard setting.
