You need a Snow Park permit.. You can get those in Government Camp or the ARCO in Sandy.
    No other permits required.
Location is the Frog Lake Snow Park and hike into camp ground.

I can do either weekend (Jan 20-22, Jan 27-29) and am planning to attend. My wife and kids weren't too keen about the prospect of camping in the snow so it would be just me. Stoked!

You may need a pretty big cozy to keep it from freezing...

With a insultex cozy and a high alcohol content I can keep it from freezing . Just wondering if that's ok I guess.

That would be an awesome time for me to do a shakedown to make sure all my gear works before doing a long hike. No promises, but I sure like the idea.
