Winter Dream with internal poles

Hello everyone,
I'm looking into the 12 foot UGQ winter dream with the internal two poles vs using a set of hiking poles.
I'm wondering if the internal two poles will work well when raining in porch mode. The concept looks great. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with some rain when using the WD with the two internal poles. As far as wind and rain my plan would be to put the tarp into storm mode.

As someone who is also looking at getting something similar I think that the tarp will be fine in porch mode with the two internal poles.

In porch mode during rain you will want to drop one corner lower than the other corner on the same side to allow the ROOF to drain. Otherwise ponding will occur and that tarp will hold A LOT of water before it cuts loose with a massive waterfall off the edge. Also we highly recommend seam sealing the ridge when using any internal pole mod due to the nature of the poles flattening the ridge which may result in minor ponding on the ridge seam.
