Snowshoeing weather is here! I went for a lap around my neighbourhood park. It confirmed two things. First, I better get my new gaiters made and second, I better get my butt off the couch more lol

Hey gang, I think I am open for the Valens hang! Since stumbling across you guys last year I have developed a slight addiction to hammock camping and hammock camping accessories! Here is hoping for snow this year and no rain. Hopefully see some of you soon.

Hopefully this snow bodes well for Valens. Last year was a tad wet and soggy for a "winter hang".

Interested in spending some time on crownland camping. Am wondering if anyone heading north would have room for me and a sled? Tracey is not interested in camping in the cold and will need the car. I can meet anywhere along the 400. I am good with the Thursday...midmorning or Friday.

I haven't been to Valens before, and was wondering how far a distance is it from where we plan to hang to where we can park. Do we all need sleds, or do we park close to the hang?
