Just noticed that valens has created a 425 meter skating loop through the cedars camping area.
That might be an interesting diversion.
Weather permitting, bring your skates folks.
You still remember how to skate? right?

That sounds like fun, but I'm probably the only kid from Montreal who didn't skate and play hockey. Don't even own a pair.

I will however, tend the fire while you kids wrap yourselves around trees. Maybe I can dog up my broomball shoes!!!

Luckily hammocks are a well ventilated and solo sleeping system, ideally suited to those fragrant little legumes.

    >Canada>Ont>EGL Winter 2017 - Gearing Up and Backcountry Hangs

I'd like to come for the Friday overnight. I'll have to see though, as I've had a year long sinus infection and not sure the cold air will be good for it.
I'm hoping to make some Grizz beak style doors for my tarp for some extra warmth, but not likely to be done by then. If anyone coming has a spare pair of those, that would probably help??

My sentiments exactly! Hey it's not like we're all in one big tent.

And as fun as it sounds I'm much too old for ice skating although the falling down part I'm REALLY good at. That's a sport too right?

    Skating AND a kilt Bubba?

I have a question. Does anyone usually bring a hot tent to the Valens hang? Just trying to figure out the whole situation here.

I wish I owned a kilt. That one was for my brother's wedding.

With regards to the hot tent, there will likely be at least one probably more. We tend to hang around the fire.

What Bubba said: likely there'll be a couple of hot tents, although we do like to gather around a big fire no matter what the temperature. We're strange that way.

I was just concerned if there were going to be children around that might be too young to know what is worn under those kilts.

    FIRE GOOD!

    Not strange at all.
