I am good for Valens (Jan 6-8) , most like be up there early Friday morning until Sunday.
As for the Back Country (Feb 3-5) , looks like that is the same weekend my Scout Troop has scheduled for its winter camp... I do not know if I will make this one, things may change.

The dates aren't cast in stone or even ice for that matter. I'm fine with moving the back-country hang out a weekend or two.

Interested in Valens. Will see if I can move a few things around on my schedule. Good first time true winter hang. Depending on how that goes Feb is attractive too

Well we don't have a hammock yet... but we are going to try and come out and check this out a Valens in January.
It'd be a good place to check out the different types. I might even have a little Kelly Kettle set up.

I just found out there's a piping competition Jan 7. I'm hoping my piping instructor doesn't have that in her plans for me or I might have to miss Valens. I've been looking forward to it.
Bring the pipes along. I can guarantee that you'll be the first piper ever to appear at an EGL hang!

It might be a 'let's practice in the bathroom thing'. Might be scary. Lol I know I have seen videos with kilted hangers.
