both Valens and the Backcountry sounds good - but will be in for weekends only. must save vacation days for Tennessee for kayaking.

Bonnet, sorry to hear you are out of commission. I was going to order a tarp and have you bring over and you would have enjoyed miso soup and a "bag" of milk to take back to US.

Well, you take it easy and will see you at another hang.

I am getting more and more interested. Never done a group hang. My DIY UQ needs some revamping before I head out.

That's the good thing about our car camp at Valen's. Good place to test things out and not too far from home if you have to bail or even if you just want to visit.

My annual ice fishing trip with the guys is the weekend after superbowl so I should be good for both dates.
No signs,no fees,no rules, nobody. My kind of campsite.

I'll be testing my winter set up over the holidays while on leave out east. But I could be convinced to travel down for a weekend hike n' hang in Feb!

Bagotville, eh? If you come in a CF-18, we'll pick you up at Hamilton airport.

The CF-18 load out might work for a fast and light backpacking weekend. I think a C-130 Hercules or a C-177 Globemaster 3 would be more conducive to a winter car camping load out.

Caper would definitely need to use the company fuel card for either of these. LOL

    Tennessee kayaking sounds great!
Keep that gear list ready, I should be ready some time in the Spring. I start PT next week.
I definitely look forward to some more of that authentic miso, milk in a bag I'm still not sure of.
