Sorry for the delay.

I'm gonna try and knock out as many questions as I can before they are asked, so here goes.

Who's a hanging?
Anyone and everyone, we don’t discriminate cause you use a tent. Go to the spreadsheet ( the link is in my signature)and sign in. It helps us keep a head count on who is coming.

What we hanging for?
The 6th Annual Louisiana Fall Group Hang is a car camping event. You can hike, fish, paddle (if the bayou is up) or just hang out.

When we hanging?
The last weekend in March 16th-19th

Where we hanging?
We will be hanging at the Kisatchie Bayou campsite. You can find directions here or coords here 31.44719, -93.093590

What is this going to cost me?
See link above for campsites.
We will be doing a raffle again this year. Tickets are $1 per ticket. Donations for the raffle are always appreciated. All proceeds from the raffle go toward raffle prizes for the next years hang.

What should campers do about food?
We plan to cook a pig again the Saturday night but any other main or side dishes are welcome.
All other meals are up to the individual camper.

How much food do we need to bring for Saturday should I choose to cook something?
Attendance runs on average 20-30 people. Don't be afraid to show off your cooking skills. We do have a pretty awesome pair of cooks but we love to eat.

What about firewood?
In a state park it is always hard to find wood. It is just such a used area. It will get chilly and we usually have a communal campfire to sit around and tell Russian Topquilt or Cookie Coon stories. Bringing a couple logs would sure help a bunch.

A few things to remember for those attending for the first time.
Come completely self-contained as you would on a car camping trip at home. Don’t forget a camp chair. My stories can get lengthy and you may need to sit down for one or two of them. Also any donated items for the raffle.

Let the fun begin again.
