Cool March 24-26 Falls Lake, Uwharrie or Bear Island hang, camp or struggle

Looking for a few good people to go anything camping at Falls lake via kayak, Uwharrie via whatever or Bear Island NC via kayak, canoe or state operated water taxi.

Bear Island is new to me but it does not look Hammock friendly, maybe someone can tell me different...?

Falls lake is close and easy and I have "stealth" camped there before, easy access.

    Uwharrie I have only backpacked.

    I am open to suggestions.

    Family camping friendly.

Section 4 of the falls lake trail now has a camping place for through hikers. Section4 is between Possum track road and bay leaf road
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Bear island is a great beach that I have only done as a day trip and is not hammock friendly. Won't be joining you for any of the adventures you choose that weekend since I still feel weak from whatever crud I picked up. Coworkers are convinced that is what happens when you camp in snow, but I know that getting sick was a result of being around sick people at work. Hope you have fun whatever you decide.

Yeah no luck that weekend myself since work will be calling. Will be looking at doing something at Jordan Lake in April.
