I finally broke down and bought an under quilt. This was probably one of the most agonizing decisions I've made in a long time. I compared all of the well recommended ones, WL, enlightened equipment, hammock gear, loco libre, etc... After researching and looking at reviews I came to the determination that they are all good and you can't really make a wrong decision.
Well on Sunday, 11/13 I placed my order with Wilderness Logics. About an hour ago and 3 days after my order I received this in the mail. I've already pitched it and am loving the warmth so far on this cool fall day.
As an after thought, I emailed Marty and asked for a couple of extra loops and this didn't delay my order at all. He nailed this! I can't believe that from ordering to manufacturing to shipment too 3 days.
Ok enough about that. The quilt is perfect. All stitches are perfect, the colors are what I wanted, the differential cuts help this lay well, and it's light just under 16oz on my scale with the stuff sack.
I'll update later after I've had a night or two out in this, but I'm just knocked out with the service.
Now it's time for a new top quilt-for a 6'7" 240 pound old man!
