    Hello from Ca!

That's California not Canada. I'm excited to embark on this new adventure! I've never really went camping before. But I figure now is the time to start. And what better way than hammock camping.
My camping experience to date resulted in an emergency trip to the hospital when I was very young and then a week long explorer computer camp when I was a teen. I was an instructor, and got to stay in one of the buildings, except for one night, when nature called and the other instructor said he'd stay up for a few minutes. So I spent a night in a scout's lean-to on a cot with a towel as a blanket.
I'll probably set up a pipe stand within the next week or so. Doesn't look to had and can be built for under $100, probably well under that.

Sounds like a good plan, Jloh. Within the last two weeks I have acquired my first hammock, built a turtledog, and slept outside overnight in a hammock. It has been a great learning experience - and a great night's sleep.
