I finished my first Robic 1.7 XL hammock last night.
This fabric is very easy to handle and sew compared to some other fabrics.
As you can see this hammock has some curves and it is always a challenge but its easier with fabric like this because it’s a bit stiffer.
BTW the drawing is in Centimeter (metric) and the hammock’s finished length is 11’.
I slept in it last night and it was comfy but I still have some fine tuning on the ridgeline.
Because of the curves (foot end and sides) floppy edges is almost none existing compared to other hammocks.
It is early days but so far I like the stretch factor this fabric has. I am 192lbs/87kg.
I have made several hammocks in HyperD 1.6 and it has been my favorite fabric for a long time but could be its about to change.
