Has anybody made a hammock yet?? Curious to hear results!

Very nice fabric with a good sturdy feel to it.
I hope to get a couple nights in this fabric later this week.
Just finished sewing, splicing srl now. 10.5' x 62" I don't have a lot of thread injector experience, and I am very impatient - I don't measure, I don't mark, I don't pin - I just go. I have only worked with silnylon, noseeum, and HyperD and I can say this was by far the easiest to work with.
Until I get the srl and some real time in it, I can't really talk to comfort but it seems to lay really nice for me. I far prefer the Robic 1.0 for feel, but I also like the confidence that I will not wake up on the ground. The HyperD 1.6 has a much softer feel, but I think I may like the support of this a bit better. Sorry I can't be more descriptive, my material knowledge is pretty limited.
The cat seems to like it...
Funny, I wouldn't even let her in the same room as my Robic 1.0

Ridgeline, knotty mod, stuff sack - ready to go. Calling for 27 degrees tonight, sounds like a great night for testing!!!
My cat is terrified of the hammock.. probably something to do with him launching himself into it from the couch, and it shooting him out like a cartoon.
But seriously.. right there with the woodstove, all nice and cozy.. You have one heck of an indoor spot right there TheMushroom.
Just a quick heads up....
The main lot of 1.7 ROBIC XL Hybrid has just arrived and we're now fully stocked. Use "BLACKFRIDAY-15" for 15% off this and anything else (excluding cuben fiber) SITEWIDE.

We do have one review in for the fabric as a hammock material if you're looking for early feedback:
"So I've used pretty much all the fabrics at RSBTR for hammocks and this one feels similar to the 2.2 oz hex70. It feels super strong, I'd say 400-500 lbs if your suspension can handle it. It's not the softest fabric but I'm convinced that with use, it will soften up. Very easy to sew. Also, I want to mention that when I received the fabric, it had been cute with a hot knife, so no unravelling at the edges. Overall, very pleased with the fabric, but if you want something soft, I'd sooner suggest Hyperd 1.6."
Thanks!
OK... Not the first kid on the block to have a widebody 1.7 oz ROBIC hammock, but close...
The lay is pleasantly firm and supportive, and it feels very, very strong. (I have double-layer hammocks that won't support as much weight as this one... Great for two!)

Thanks, RBTR!
