I'm sure you knew that was unlikely to deter you from actually pulling the trigger, right?

Phew! Gives me time to get through my supply on hand with something to look forward to!

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

Looks like I got the last 4 yards of orange. Quite a change from my collection of olive browns, olive greens and camo.

Forgive my lack of knowledge on fabric construction, but does the difference in yarn used for the hybrid design affect the feel of the fabric? My only concern would the heavier yard used for the ripstop grid might create a texture to the fabric. Is that the case, or does it still feel similar to the 1.0 ROBIC? I need to replace my 1.0 ROBIC hammock since my dog's nail tore through it, and this looks like just the fabric to do that.

No not really. Once you get the material you will notice there are distinct sides. One is smooth and the other has a visibly raised grid, almost like an exoskeleton type look. You'll want to put the smooth side against your skin.

The 1.0 ROBIC is softer just because it uses a finer denier yarn. Similar to how 1.0 HyperD is softer than 1.6 HyperD. All else being equal, the fabric gets softer as you go down in weight and denier.

Oh and you are forgiven for your lack of fabric knowledge . Please ask as many questions as you want. That's why we're here.

Thanks Kyle! I'll have to get an order in once you get more in stock and the full array of colors.

Yep we do on orders over $25. You should get a window asking you to add when moving to checkout, but if you didn't we can fix you up. Send us a message through the contact us page or pop into chat and we'll take care of it.

Got mine today!!! Awesome service, ordered Friday - delivered Monday. One question - does this need to be cut with a hot knife, or can it just be knife cut cold? Unlike the polyD, the end cuts don't seem to be fraying.... oops, nevermind, the ends were cut with a hot knife... duh.

I received my 1.7 oz Dark Olive ROBIC on Saturday, and I started sewing a hammock yesterday. This might be one of th best single-layer hammock fabrics out there. So far it meets all my expectations and is simple to sew. It feels super strong and looks great, with an obvious right side and smoother-feeling wrong side with a surprisingly no ce hand considering how tough the fabric is! It's much more robust than the 1.0 oz ROBIC. I'll try to finish up the hammock by Thanksgiving and give it a test...
