WI > Harrington Beach State Park > Group Site - Potential Hang Location? Anyone know?

I've been searching on-line for potential places which could accommodate a group hang. I've never been to Harrington Beach State Park and see they have one group site for up to 30 people & 15 cars. The site looks pretty wide open, but maybe good hanging trees on the outskirts.

I found this video which shows the group site at the 8:57 mark, but the video is 5 years old.

Anyone know if this group site would be a good place for a group hang?

Dang, if I had seen this earlier in the day, I would have run down there to look. Not going to have a chance for a while now, as I'm heading out of town on Saturday and booked solid until then. From the website, the group site is G1.

Here's the pic from the website. Not a great pic of the site, but a great pic of the parking lot! I do see plenty of trees, but you never know until you are in their midst... group site.jpg Apparently this site is somewhere in 'Murica.

After I get back, which is after Thanksgiving, I can run down there and explore. I haven't been to that campground before, so I'm intrigued by the walk-in sites too.

Sorry.... I had hoped to swing by the park today on my way home from the piney North woods. But I had a change in my itinerary and I couldn't make it happen.

I called the park office to ask them questions about the site. I'll let y'all know when/if they return my call. I also checked out reservation dates & availability. Looks like camping doesn't start until May 4th and the group site is booked up until October. If we want to camp there, we will need to reserve soon. The camping shuts down in November there.
