Holy cats, man! That's a seriously thick underquilt! I'm not sure about 4* being accurate or not, but I think it oughtta be close.
Cheers,

I'm hoping it will get me below 10f, not too often am I out in the negative temps but I would rather be warm than cold!

I like your color combination with the contrast stitching, which can be hard to do because it highlights every flaw. Well done.

Thanks kitsapcowboy, my early gear definitely has flaws, there are a couple spots on this shell that I'm not to pleased with, but if it works, that's really all that matters. Also, thanks for the compliment on the color scheme. For some reason, I really like the grey and black with the bright green, in my opinion, that combo is the best. After I stuff this quilt I will be working on a topquilt with the same outter fabric, the inner fabric is going to be the .66 membrane in olive yellow that I have leftover from ripstop by the roll. Probably going to do a black round footbox end with a hang loop and the same color stitching as this UQ.

I also made a Costco throw set, in copper with the same color thread and black grosgrain trim. That looks nice as well, I'll try to find that and link it here.

2.25oz Of down per baffle. A generous 20oz or so of down for the whole quilt! Fairly certain this will keep me warm.
