I appreciate you saying that. I don't have the most expensive gear but I have gear that works and know my knots.

All the times I've been out I've never seen anyone handing out prettiest rig in the forest awards. LOL
I may not have the best machine or lay super perfect stitching but what I made works for me and that's really all that matters.

Dang straight. My wife and I love our table cloth hammocks. No they're no Warbonnet or Dream Hammocks, don't have any bells and whistles, but they work for us and we get out there and sleep as good as anyone else when we're in them. They work and we know how to use 'em!

Granddaughter and her mother are up in Woodstock. Next time we're up that way would enjoy having you show me that view, unless it's location is a secret.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

No problem, it's not a secret at all. It is 10 minutes away from my driveway to the trail head. Just PM me when come around.

I had an old wind chime made of different lengths of 1/2" aluminum tubing that I used to make some great toggles. They weigh almost nothing. I cut the 6" one and the 7" one in half, sanded down any rough edges, drilled some holes, threaded glow in the dark cord. The toggles are a shiny silver color and the cord is a great night guide and easy to find after sunset.
