dynaglide under for me...4 wraps with dynaglide prusiks..holds great!
No ridgeline would be better, just hang the tarp on the loops.
Ridgeline Over the tarp, I think this is better.
Ridgeline Under the tarp seems better.
Something different, please explain what you are thinking.

I'm not sure what this line is. It came with my Granite Gear tarp. It is very similar in construction to the Kelty Triptease, only slightly thinner.
That's pretty funny. My wife was born in Madison, WI. We live where 71 crosses the Pedernales River, now. If things go according to plan, we may be living nearer to Marble Falls.

Hmmm - so far about 2 to 1 favoring the ridge line (over or under).
Don't know if that means anything or not.
this post comes at a very good time as I'm in the process of making a larger tarp for my Clark hammock. I've been using the Clark tarp and it works very well for me. I have noticed two problems that show up only when it's very heavy rain. Splash from the ground and no room under the tarp because it's closed down so much.
So I started working on a larger tarp. I'm making it longer on the sides and I'm putting a ridgeline on the top. I like that idea of being able to add a clothesline on the inside. Now I need to run to the store and buy more amsteel

Ridgeline over the tarp method, for me.
Yesterday's tomorrow is tomorrow's yesterday. It's the only day that counts.
