This is freaking ingenious. Props to Wilderness Logics. This is the first time I've seen a product of this nature.

That is pretty cool. I've used my reflectix food cozy opened up as a pad. The zero weight penalty is nice, but that can be very slick.

Nothing like zipping off the refletix! But boy it sure works well! Umm...makeshift sled for those of us with snow in winter? Hmm...

I made a quilt for my bison chair a couple years ago out of some scrap material & insultex (or was it climashield?) I had lying around. Looking forward to breaking it out again this weekend.

I cut this out of Reflectix for my Helinox seat pad during winter.

    H1.jpg

I cut 4" slits on either side of the pad where the back of the chair meets the seat and it fits perfectly.

    H2.jpg

Works great, weighs almost nothing, can be used for other things on the trail, and costs about 95% less than an $80 quilt.

These seat pads can be used for insulation in your hammock also. If you have a 3/4 underquilt you can use this under your feet for insulation.
