    Introducing Colorado Outdoor Gear Supply!!

    Hello everyone,
I have been on this forum for a little over a year now and have learned a great deal about this hobby, so much so that I have decided to start a small business out of my home. This will only be a part time thing since I still have a job outside of the home, but who knows where this may take me. I am announcing it on this forum first due to the fact that it has helped fuel my passion for this wonderful hobby and I would like to have some small part in its future success. My plan at the beginning is to offer hammocks, tarps, suspensions, and accessories like possibles bags and tinder bags. Once I get a little more established, I plan on offering both top quilts and under quilts as well.

What I need from you guys right now is to help me with some of my color options for hammocks and tarps. Being that I am just starting and don't want to carry a huge inventory of the large assortment of colors that are offered right now, I would like a list of the top 3-5 colors that people would like to see. I plan on sourcing from RBTR and offering 1.0 oz HyperD, 1.6 oz HyperD, 1.6 oz patterned, and 1.6 oz HyperD XL. If you guys could help me out with that, it would be greatly appreciated. Once I get an idea of what people like I can start producing some items and get some pictures up on my website and getting them out to all of you fine folks.

    Thank you in advance,
    Chad

Well, personally, I prefer more natural colors: olive and forest greens, coyote tan, brown, etc...

I prefer natural colors also. Probably a good place to start from. Let me know how it is going. I'd like to check out some of your stuff. We happen to be neighbors!

Best of luck Chad... I see lots of greens, blacks and browns when I'm out hiking and camping. Go with your gut...

Dark Olive, Coyote Brown, Charcoal Gray, and Black are winners. If you have to throw in a bright, I think Burnt (not Blaze) Orange will be popular. Moroccan Blue and Royal Blue are also worth your consideration.

I too am mostly into the muted colors myself, my personal setup is all earth tones with titanium gray quilts. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I will be getting some stock very shortly!!
