I'm new to hammocks, and I've never been to a hang, but I plan on going, so I can learn more about it. That is, if there is room for another. I'm open to suggestions on what to take for Sat. morning and Saturday night. What do you guys usually eat? I have a Dutch oven, but, I haven't used it much. I can take frozen biscuits (like homemade) for breakfast, or some French toast sticks, bread for toast, whatever. The forecast shows a cool down for the weekend. How about vegetable beef soup or chili? Again...I'll bring whatever y'all suggest.

Will there be plenty of firewood, or should I bring some charcoal to use with the Dutch oven? Is there water nearby? Put me down for chili Sat. night, and I'll bring bacon and biscuits for Sat. morning. Maybe make gravy for breakfast, too.

Stealthman is making Amish Cinnamon bread for Saturday breakfast. Don't know what for Saturday night. He was talking about charliebread. That will go well with the soup (or chili). Still thinking.

THeath2 - Don't bother with the charcoal as we will be bringing a good sized bag. Let's see how many Dutch ovens we will have this time.
