    New in Nj

    Burlington county.

Just bought wbbb xlc, wooki and HG burrow 20.

Xlc has winter cover option and I got mamajamba.

    Hope I spelled everything right.

Sleeping in setup in yard for first time tonight.

Temps in the 60 range so a little warm in here.

Hoping to hike some of the AT next spring.....as much as I am tough enough to handle. Probably late March or april. Not concerned with the whole thing but would like to hit every state.

    We'll see.

Welcome from the Jersey Shore. Check out the area group hangs in the trip planning section - you can meet other hangers and check out their gear. There's a group hang next week at Batona if you want to join in.

I was actually looking at the group hang and thinking about coming. I might decide to hike in on the Batona. Do I need to do anything other than put my name on the google sheet.

I could definitely use some help in knowing how to best setup my gear. I haven't even rigged my tarp yet.

Separate note....Silver Surfer are you the same person on the FJ Cruiser forum?

Could be a nice weekend for a walk in the woods.

When you arrive, make a point to introduce yourself and mention you could use some assistance. If you happen to speak to someone with less experience, they'll track down an experienced person or persons to assist. Please do not hesitate to say hello and mention you are new. You'll find a very friendly group anxious to assist and ensure that you have a positive experience. We are expecting some nice low temps in the overnight and there's nothing worse than being cold. It's always best to have someone check the under quilt setup while you are actually in the hammock. Knowing that you have a Wookie for the UQ should reduce fiddle factor significantly but it's always best to double check.

Welcome and the Batona gathering is an excellent opportunity to check out gear and learn a few tweaking options to maximize your setup. Worth dropping by even if you don't wind up spending the night. Spend the night(s) and you'll eat well, meet like minded folks and maybe win a raffle prize.

Since I don't know what an FJ Cruiser is, I think I can safely say I'm not that person!
