HG Incubator on the way!

Well I took advantage of the current sale, and ordered a 0 deg Moroccan blue incubator with +3oz to use as my wifes new winter UQ.

This is like a gift to me as well, because she's been using my JRB Old rag mnt as her UQ, so I'll regain use of that as my winter TQ!

I used a "20deg" Hudson river TQ on a single digit trip in the Smokies, and did fine, can't wait to make use of the Old rag mnt! I can only imagine a well designed, dedicated UQ such as the Incubator should be deep winter heaven for her. She will be mating this with a JRB High sierra sniveller, I have hopes of dragging her out on another single digit trip this winter!

Incubator showed up yesterday,

We had just returned from an overnight trip in the Hoosier nat. forest. We set her hammock up outside and she was able to take a nap while I messed with a fire for hotdogs and such.

Temps aren't all that cold currently, but touching into the 30's is low enough to find fitment issues for sure. I did a quick fitment in the office with her in it, and when I set it up outside, I made no adjustments. She climbed in and said there were zero cold spots, even after some moving around. I'm wanting one for myself now for sure, and will strongly consider getting 20 or 40 deg UQ's for non-winter camping.

Well that didn't last long, ordered myself an Incubator 0 with +3oz just like my wifes, only I went with camo. I don't know why I have so many quilts, its some kind of problem.
